- Precision Bending
CNC press-brake bending for precise angles, complex profiles, and consistent forming.
- Service Overview
Precision bending at Kurveline uses the AMADA Hydraulic CNC Press Brake — a CNC-controlled forming press with programmable back-gauge positioning. This enables accurate, repeatable bending of sheet metal components to complex angles and multi-bend sequences. CNC control eliminates operator variation and allows the same bend sequence to be reproduced identically on repeat orders, maintaining dimensional accuracy across batches.
Kurveline bends MS and SS sheet metal into enclosure bodies, panel bends, structural channels, furniture frames, brackets, box forms, cover plates, and complex multi-bend profiles to customer drawings.
- CNC-programmed back-gauge ensures consistent angle and flange length across all units in a batch
- Complex multi-bend sequences stored as programs — repeat orders are dimensionally identical
- Appropriate tooling for MS and SS — punch and die profiles for each material
- Tight forming tolerances: ±0.3 mm standard, tighter with fixturing on precision assemblies
- No re-setup cost on repeat orders — program recalled from memory

Applications

Enclosures
Enclosure bodies, door panels, side plates, and flanged box sections for industrial and electrical applications

Pharmaceutical
SS 304/316 furniture frames, workbench structures, and storage cabinet panels

MedTech
Precision chassis panels and frame components requiring accurate multi-bend sequences

Furniture
Table legs, desk frames, furniture structural channels, and mixed-material furniture components

General Fabrication
Any sheet metal component requiring forming angle, U-profile, Z-section, or complex multi-bend box form
Customization
Bend angle, flange length, inside radius, material grade and thickness, multi-bend sequence, dimensional tolerance, and production quantity can all be specified. DXF, 3D CAD (STEP), or unfolded drawing accepted. Opposite-hand versions of parts available.
Our Process
Requirement
Part specs, quantity, material grade, and thickness confirmed with the client.
DXF / 3D Drawing Review
Flat patterns, bend lines, and 3D models checked for formability and tolerances.
CNC Program Setup
Bend sequence, tooling, and back-gauge positions programmed on the press brake.
Press Brake Forming
Sheets bent to the required angles on the CNC press brake as per the program.
Dimension Verification
Bend angles and finished part dimensions measured against the drawing.
Dispatch / Next Process
Parts released to welding, finishing, or direct dispatch.
Quality & Engineering
Bent components are checked for angle accuracy, flange length, and overall profile dimensions against the customer drawing. First-off inspection is performed before committing the full batch. CNC programs are verified for accuracy at the start of each production run.
