High-speed CNC turret punching for holes, slots, louvres, and formed sheet-metal.

CNC turret punching is Kurveline’s process for sheet metal components that require repetitive hole patterns, slots, louvres, or formed features. The TRUMPF TruePunch 100 holds multiple punch and die sets in a rotating turret, enabling punching, forming, and embossing of complex sheet patterns without tool changes between operations. It is faster and more economical than laser cutting for high-volume repetitive pattern work.

Kurveline punches sheet metal components in MS and SS 304/316 — ventilation panels, mounting plates, enclosure fronts, perforated shelving, louvre grilles, and formed tab features for assembly.

  • High-speed production for repetitive patterns — faster than laser on high-density hole grids
  • Multiple punch profiles in a single setup — combined operations without remounting
  • Consistent hole-to-hole accuracy across the full sheet
  • Cost-effective for production volume on standard hole patterns
  • Deburr-free or deburring-capable, depending on specification

Applications

Electrical

Ventilation panels and mounting plates for electrical cabinets and enclosures

Industrial Equipment

Equipment guard panels, machinery housings, access covers with hole patterns

Furniture & Racking

Perforated shelves, louvre panels, cabinet vent strips

Data Centre

Rack ventilation blanking panels, cable entry panels

General Fabrication

Any sheet requiring repetitive holes, slots, louvres, or formed features at volume

Customization

Material, sheet thickness, hole size and type, pattern layout (from DXF), louvre configuration, quantity, and any deburring or surface treatment requirement can be specified. Stored punch programs enable repeat orders without re-setup.

Our Process

01

Requirement

Part specs, quantity, and material grade confirmed with the client.

02

DXF / Pattern Review

Hole layouts and formed features checked against the punch program.

03

Tooling Selection

Punch and die tools matched to each hole shape and sheet thickness.

04

CNC Punching

Sheets punched on the CNC turret to the reviewed program.

05

Deburring

Punched edges and holes cleared of burrs before final checks.

06

Dispatch / Next Process

Parts released to bending, welding, or direct dispatch.

Quality & Engineering

Punched components are dimensionally checked for hole position and size before proceeding. Punch program accuracy is verified at batch start. Deburring is performed as required. SS material is protected from scratch during punching.
