Precision Sheet Metal Enclosures for Medical Devices and Health Technology Products
CII-AMTZ MedTech Quality Champion nominated. ±0.5mm post-weld tolerance. From a single prototype to a production batch with the same dimensional accuracy at every scale.

- Our capability
We fabricate precision sheet metal enclosures and chassis for MedTech and health technology products: from the prototype to the production order.
Medical device enclosures are not standard products. They are precision structural assemblies, components that must locate correctly, weld accurately, and maintain dimensional integrity under the thermal stresses of joining. A chassis that is 0.6mm out of tolerance does not fail obviously; it causes cumulative fit-up issues at assembly that are expensive to diagnose and rework.
Kurveline Manufacturing has designed and fabricated precision enclosures and chassis for MedTech and health technology products, including the EM200 Medical Device Chassis (31 sub-components, ±0.5mm post-weld tolerance, nominated for the CII-AMTZ MedTech Quality Champion Award in 2024) and the hpod Health Kiosk body for India Health Link (prototype to 300-unit purchase order, first deployed at WeWork Bangalore). We are located at APIIC IDA, Gajuwaka, close to the AMTZ MedTech ecosystem in Visakhapatnam.
Featured Projects
| What We Built | EM200 Chassis: the main structural frame of a medical diagnostic device, supporting more than 2,000 parts and subassemblies |
| Complexity | 31 sub-components welded into a single precision assembly. More than 200 M3 & M4 tapped holes. Dimensional accuracy critical: any deviation directly affects the device's test output |
| Critical Spec | Post-weld dimensional tolerance of ±0.5mm across all 31 joints |
| Quality Method | In-house design and manufacture of welding fixtures and receiver gauges before production began, ensuring accuracy is repeatable batch-to-batch, not just on the prototype |
| Award | Nominated for CII-AMTZ MedTech Quality Champion Award, 2024 |
| What We Built | Modular sheet metal body for the hpod, a public health diagnosis machine that accommodates all electrical and electronic health measurement components |
| Brief | Design a modular enclosure that reduces transport cost, accommodates all components, and allows future upgrades. No existing product on the market did this |
| Design Approach | Modular sheet metal body fabricated using Bystronic CNC Fibre Laser, AMADA Press Brake, TRUMPF TruePunch, ERCOLINA Pipe Bender, and IPG Laser Welding |
| Scale | Prototype → first commercial deployment at WeWork Bangalore → 300-unit Purchase Order |
| Expansion | Land acquired at AMTZ for new factory to scale production capacity |
What We Can Build For You

Medical Device Chassis
Multi-component welded structural frames for diagnostic and therapeutic devices. Tolerance-critical work handled through in-house fixtures.

Health Kiosk Bodies
Modular sheet metal enclosures for health technology kiosks, point-of-care stations, and diagnostic pods

Diagnostic Device Enclosures
Sheet metal housings for diagnostic equipment, designed for assembly access, component mounting, and aesthetic finish

Wearable & Portable Device Parts
Sheet metal components for portable medical and health technology devices: lightweight materials, tight tolerances, clean finishes

Custom MedTech Assemblies
Multi-part welded and assembled sheet metal structures for any medical technology application.

Prototype to Production
Start with a single prototype for validation, scale to production with the same fixtures ensuring dimensional consistency.
Our MedTech Fabrication Process
01
Drawing Intake
Share your CAD, DXF, GD&T drawing, or concept sketch. We review material requirements, wall thickness, hole patterns, weld sequences, and fixturing needs.
02
Feasibility & Fixturing Plan
For tolerance-critical assemblies, we plan the welding sequence and design in-house fixtures and receiver gauges before any production begins.
03
Fabrication
Components laser-cut on Bystronic CNC, formed on AMADA Press Brake, joined with IPG Laser Welding with dimensional checks against fixtures at each stage.
04
Quality Inspection
Every assembly verified against the drawing: all dimensions, weld quality, tapped holes, and hardware fitment. Nothing ships until it passes.
04
Delivery & Scale
Prototype delivered. Feedback incorporated. Production begins with the same fixtures. Consistency guaranteed across the batch.
